Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a talking therapy that combines the use of psychotherapy with hypnosis based on the latest research from neuroscience and incorporates the very best elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help people make significant, positive changes in their lives.

It is a collaborative process designed to reduce anxiety, calm the mind and support you through the challenges you might be facing. It is about looking forward and finding solutions to the problems, rather than dwelling on the problem/s that caused you to seek help.

Fiona is an accredited Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and gained her diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DFSH) and the Hypnotherapy in Practice diploma (HPD) at York university,   I have a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) certificate and am fully insured.

Fiona has worked for over 30 years in the field of education and has experience in both Primary and Secondary.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Stress is the body’s reaction to feeling threatened or under pressure. Body image refers to how you see your body, and especially how attractive you feel yourself to be.
Body image issues can arise when you feel that your looks do not measure up to what society, family, friends and the media expect. This can be dangerous and lead to problems if it causes you to become unhappy and despondent.

Unrelieved chronic pain or persistent pain can affect all ages and all parts of the body. It can cause considerable suffering and have real effects on your day-to-day life and your mental health.
